Lower Leg
Lets begin... To fix your Leg Pain
The lower leg refers to the area beneath your knee and above your ankle. This area involves both the shin bone and it's supporting bone (Tibia and Fibula) as well as the muscles and the front/back of the leg. Typical injuries to this area may include calf strains, tib/fib joint pain, shin splints, hamstring tendonitis, and many more. You can also get referred pain from the lumbar spine that travels down the leg and can mask itself as leg pain. Lower leg pain can occur in all ages, though some injuries are more prevalent in younger/older age groups. Due to the diverse range of injuries that may occur in the lower leg, having a physiotherapist assess you will help to identify the source of your pain.
