Darren is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Partner and Clinical Director of Physica, with more than 25 years of clinical experience. He works with shoulder and elbow problems, including rotator cuff injuries, dislocations, shoulder replacements, tennis and golfer’s elbow, and elbow fractures. He also treats headaches, running injuries, and sports injuries in children and teenagers.
Darren is heavily involved in physiotherapy education. He lectures at the University of Melbourne, RMIT and La Trobe University, and teaches on Physica’s own postgraduate courses. He has served as Chair of the APA Musculoskeletal Branch and Vice Chair of the APA Business Group.
Alongside his clinical work, Darren founded PatientNotes, a clinician-built clinical documentation platform used by physiotherapists and allied health practitioners.
He graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1997 and completed a Master of Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2000.
